We have had a year of many changes in 2019, and while we have consolidated our range and attended a smaller number of events it has been a good one. There are only two remaining markets for us until Christmas!
Lately, I have had my flavour hat on in the kitchen and have been experimenting with ideas that have been playing a little dance in my head for a few years! We have also been able to source a few new ingredients locally that have meant we are able to ensure that no chemicals have been used. I love Citrus season and have made a few new limited release products that we will have for sale at the Pearl Beach Food and Wine Fare in a couple of weeks. We now carry a small range of hand crafted Vinegars, made with Acetobacter Aceti Mother. If you are like me and sometimes don't want to drink Alcohol every day then consider adding a Shrubb to your pantry. If you have never heard of Shrubbs, they are an amazing addition to brighten up the colour and flavour of your soda or Mocktail. Made only from Fruit, Vinegar and sugar, they can also be used in Prosecco, Champagne and Cocktails. We call them adult cordials, but children love them too! I know I said that we were not making as large a range of products, but I guess you cannot take the creative out of the kitchen. As a result there are a few favourites back in our range, so we will have Feijoa Jelly, Mandarin and Apricot Jam, Fig and Muscat Jam, and a newbie Eureka Lemon Marmalade for a limited time only. Yes, I know, it has been a very long time between posts. That's what happens when you are a Jack of all Trades! Flavour guru, product concept builder, cook, partner, mother to a crazy, cute-as rescue JUG puppy, graphic designer, web site builder (and not good at that), the list goes on and on, so won't bore you with that.
We have taken a little rest to settle in said puppy and are consolidating things market wise. Less is more being our new motto. The range, rather than growing is now concentrating on only our BEST SELLERS (sorry for those that loved our Feijoa Jelly, Strawberry Jam and various other sweet things) . Our freshly introduced small range of Chilli Sauces are growing in popularity too! We have updated our 2019 Market Events page, so check out where we will be for 2019. Our next Market will be in May & here's a photo of our little bundle of cuteness xxx We will be at the Yarramalong Markets this Sunday for our first market in a while, we'll have our very popular Tomato Relish, Chilli Jams, Tomato & Eggplant Kasundis's, Green Tomato Pickle, Nic's Classic Fruit Chutney, Mango Chutney, Rosella Jam and introducing new products - South Indian Lime Pickle, which is amazing with Curries, Mandarin & Apricot Jam - so good on freshly buttered toast, Blueberry Jam & Fig & Muscat Jam which is a lovely marriage with blue cheese & brie. Nic's Cigar Box Guitars are crafted individually; each one featuring found and recycled components to create these amazing one of a kind musical Instruments.
